Murphy Metal Recycling offers a scrap car disposal service free of charge for customers within a 30 km radius of our depot in Wells, Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland. All scrap vehicles that we collect are de-polluted in our new de-pollution bay, this means that amongst other things wheels, tyres, fuel, fluids and other hazardous materials are removed prior to recycling. Murphy Metal Recycling is an authorised treatment facility (ATF) and can dispose of your End of Life Vehicle (ELV)
You should either bring your old car to us or we can collect it from you, we will issue you with a Certificate of Destruction which will confirm that the vehicle will be depolluted and dismantled in an environmentally safe manner. We will then notify the Vehicle Registration Unit in Shannon, Co. Clare and the destruction of your vehicle will be noted in the National Vehicle File. The only document you need to give us is the Vehicle Registration Certificate (RF101) or the log book for the car.
